MockFlow is a developer tool that allows users to create mock API endpoints and test HTTP requests, including webhook inspection.

We are designed to minimize data collection and give users control over their data.


2. Information We Collect

2.1 Guest Users (No Account)

When using MockFlow without an account:

  • All data (projects, endpoints, responses) is stored locally in your browser (localStorage)
  • We do not have access to this data
  • We do not collect or store this data on our servers

Important:

  • If you clear your browser data, your data will be permanently lost

2.2 Account Users

When you create an account, we may collect:

  • Email address
  • Authentication data (via Auth providers)
  • Projects, endpoints, and configurations
  • Usage-related metadata (for service improvement)

This data is stored securely in our database.


2.3 Webhook & Endpoint Data

MockFlow may allow you to:

  • Create public endpoints
  • Receive HTTP requests (for example, webhooks)

When using these features:

  • Incoming request data (headers, body, metadata) may be temporarily stored
  • This data is accessible to you via the dashboard

Important:

  • You are responsible for any data sent to these endpoints
  • You should never send sensitive, production, personal, financial, medical, or confidential data
  • We do not guarantee confidentiality of webhook data

3. How We Use Information

We use collected data to:

  • Provide and operate the service
  • Store and retrieve your projects (for account users)
  • Improve performance and user experience
  • Monitor system health and prevent abuse

We do not sell your data.


4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information.

We may share data only:

  • When required by law
  • To protect our rights or prevent abuse
  • With trusted service providers (for example, hosting, database providers)

5. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data.

However:

  • No system is completely secure
  • We cannot guarantee absolute security
  • Public endpoints and webhook URLs may be accessed by anyone with the link

6. Data Retention

  • Guest data: stored in your browser only
  • Account data: stored until you delete your account
  • Webhook/request logs: may be stored temporarily or deleted automatically in future versions

We reserve the right to delete inactive data.


7. Your Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • The data you send through MockFlow
  • Avoiding sending sensitive or personal information
  • Managing access to your endpoints and webhook URLs

8. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services such as:

  • Hosting providers (for example, Vercel)
  • Database providers
  • Authentication providers

These services may process your data according to their own privacy policies.


9. Cookies & Tracking

MockFlow uses minimal tracking.

We may use:

  • Essential cookies for authentication
  • Basic analytics (if implemented)

We do not use invasive tracking or sell behavioral data.


10. Children's Privacy

MockFlow is not intended for children under 13.

We do not knowingly collect data from children.
